MIXED MEDIA ART CLUB with Ms. Jackie and Ms. Danielle| Tuesday from 3:15 – 4:00 PM for Preschool
Our mixed media class is an awesome class that works with different mediums such as clay, paint, drawing, oil pastel , chalk, pastel, charcoal, mosaic work and more! This program introduces students to arts and crafts that are not only fun, but also helps with color recognition, fine motor skills, hand eye coordination and more! Not to mention art classes build self-confidence. Limit 20 students
Each month, the students will study something different and new. Prior to winter and summer break, there will be an art showcase displaying all of the students’ hard work
CHILDREN’S THEATER with Mrs. Zorin and Ms. Danielle| Tuesday from 3:15 – 4:00 PM (Jan- May) for Kindergarten – 3rd Grade
In this club, the students will be rehearsing for a short play to be performed at the spring showcase. The children will learn lines, songs, and choreography for the performance. This will help them to gain self-confidence, help with public speaking, and encourage them to think outside of the box. This is a good way to introduce your child to stories and plays that have been passed on from generation to generation.
ATTENDANCE POLICY: More than one excused absence will result to call to parents and a possible removal from the club. This is because the children will have parts in the play and it is important for everyone to be present at each rehearsal.
BOARD GAME CLUB with Ms. Levine| Thursday from 3:15 – 4:00 PM for Kindergarten – 1st Grade
This clubs is a fun way for students to interact with each other by playing various board games. In addition to learning how to cooperate, take turns and student will learn good sportsmanship and enjoy playing different games with their classmate each week. Limit 18 students
JUNIOR AND INTERMEDIATE ATHLETICS with Mr. Z. | Junior (Monday) and Intermediate (Tuesday) from 3:15 – 4:00 PM for Preschool -4th Grade
Students will engage in various athletics and sports activities throughout the year.
MATHtastic with Mrs. Alba | Monday from 3:15 – 4:00 PM for 1st – 3rd Grade
Students will learn to play fun and interactive online games, board games, and card games that will reinforce math concepts and fact fluency. Limit 18 students
PHONICS FUN with Ms. Danielle| Thursday from 3:15 – 4:00 PM for KG – 2nd Grade
We will be doing phonics games to help with letter sounds and word pronunciations, working with long/short vowel sounds, as well as rhyming, and practicing some beginning grammar rules. This club is a great way to jump start literacy as well as to practice and hone learned skills! Limit 18 students
STORYTELLING with Mrs. Renko | Tuesday from 3:15 – 4:00 PM for 1st – 3rd Grade
Students will be introduced to various books to children and involve them in related activities. Limit 18 students.
